How We Got Started
Abeer Allam founded Peekadoo at the end of 2022. She’s both an electrical engineer and a mother of four wonderful kids. In 2007, she discovered her passion for crochet and actively scoured the internet for educational videos in various languages, teaching herself to read patterns. After dedicating herself to practicing and perfecting her craft, she started selling her products in Egypt and eventually exported them to several countries. A significant turning point occurred when Abeer’s youngest child struggled with weak fine motor muscles, inspiring her to create Peekadoo. Our products are meticulously designed to assist new moms in developing their newborns’ fine motor skills, hand-eye coordination, and sound alertness during playtime.
